About Us

We exist to glorify God by building mature Christians in the faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ so that all are complete in him.

We are a Christ-centered church serving the Lord as He enables through the power of the Holy Spirit. We compassionately seek to meet the needs of others through love and service in order to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be true to the Bible and diligent in study as we strive to fulfill the purpose that God calls.

BigHouse Youth meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday's of each month from 4pm-7pm. We also have Bible Study on Wednesday night at 7pm, and currently are combined with adults for the Names of God Bible study.

Giving

The tithes and offerings that you make to The Rock Church make a difference to our church, our community, and the people in the area surrounding King, NC. There are various ways you can donate. We collect tithes and offerings during Sunday worship service and electronic giving is available for 24/7 donations. “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops” (Proverbs 3:9).

As The Rock Church continues to grow we are in need of more volunteers to fill the gaps in the different ministries we offer. We are looking for someone to help with sound, people to help in the children ministry, First touch(greeters, ushers, and road crew), and cleaning the church. The BigHouse youth we need volunteers and are searching for a Youth Pastor/leader. Please pray about all these different opportunities and reach out to Bobby Comer if you would are willing to help out in any of these areas.

Living in Christ

Please join us on a new study as we Journey in to what it means to “Live in Christ” . This new study will be broken down in to 2 parts, the first is a 5 week course on the basics of salvation and living for Jesus, the 2nd part will take you deeper, as you learn to what it means to be a disciple for Jesus Christ.

Monthly Men’s Breakfast and Devotional
