About Us
We exist to glorify God by building mature Christians in the faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ so that all are complete in him.
We are a Christ-centered church serving the Lord as He enables through the power of the Holy Spirit. We compassionately seek to meet the needs of others through love and service in order to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be true to the Bible and diligent in study as we strive to fulfill the purpose that God calls.

Giving
The tithes and offerings that you make to The Rock Church make a difference to our church, our community, and the people in the area surrounding King, NC. There are various ways you can donate. We collect tithes and offerings during Sunday worship service and electronic giving is available for 24/7 donations. “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops” (Proverbs 3:9).
BigHouse Youth meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday's of each month from 4pm-7pm. We also have Bible Study on Wednesday night at 7pm, and currently are combined with adults for the Names of God Bible study.
As The Rock Church continues to grow we are in need of more volunteers to fill the gaps in the different ministries we offer. We are looking for someone to help with sound, people to help in the children ministry, First touch(greeters, ushers, and road crew), and cleaning the church. The BigHouse youth we need volunteers and are searching for a Youth Pastor/leader. Please pray about all these different opportunities and reach out to Bobby Comer if you would are willing to help out in any of these areas.

Men’s Ministry Team
Guys this is for you!! If you are an adult or teenage male this is a group for you! We are just a bunch guys who love Jesus and want to bond together as brothers in Christ, we meet at different times so be on the lookout for the the next men’s gathering. Living in Christ
Please join us on a new study as we Journey in to what it means to “Live in Christ” . This new study will be broken down in to 2 parts, the first is a 5 week course on the basics of salvation and living for Jesus, the 2nd part will take you deeper, as you learn to what it means to be a disciple for Jesus Christ.
Summer Camp 2025
This is a huge opportunity!!! Youth you are able to attend GoTell Summer Camp 2025 for only 99.00!!! You are not going to get a better deal, and better opportunity. You will spend camp at Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia, and God does not fail to show up at these camps! Make plans now, scan the QR code and get registered, then turn in your 25.00 deposit to Josh or Tasha Lawson. 2025 is going to be a powerful year in the church in America!!
Men you are invited to come to Saturday morning breakfast that is designed just for you. We will gather on Saturday, January 18th @ 7am for breakfast, and we are talking about the works! Then we will take time together to open God’s Word and let the Lord minister to us through eHis Word. Please feel free to invite other men to join you.
